YDCT, a company of forty-five dancers headed up by a team of experienced professionals formerly with the State Theatre Ballet Company, was founded with the vision of creating an environment where young dancers are given the opportunity to experience a foretaste of the professional workplace and where regular performance opportunities are created.

The Youth Dance Company of Tshwane will guide young dancers through the world of dance from student to professional in a friendly, caring atmosphere. Our team appreciates the opportunity to share the exitement, challenge and beauty of dance. We are committed to the belief that dance improves confidence, concentration, coordination, memorisation, and discipline.
